Are Bar Mitzvah only for Jewish men?

A Bar Mitzvah is considered the ceremonial celebration of a boy becoming a man in the Jewish tradition. It is a rite of passage into adulthood and priesthood for Jewish males. But does such a thing exist for female followers of Judaism?

According to Ariela Pelaia (2019), the tradition by which a Jewish female comes of age in Judaism is called a "Bat Mitzvah." A Bat Mitzvah is the female equivalent of a Bar Mitzvah (Pelaia, 2019). It describes a girl between the ages of 12 or 13 transitioning into womanhood - at which point she is eligible for certain rights and responsibilities in the Jewish community.
