"Morals come from the gods" or so I am told.
When I come across this, I ask the theist, 'do you trust your own moral code?'
Often, the answer is no and that is why I obey gods morality.
Question: If you don't trust your morality, how can you conclude your gods are moral? If your moral compass doesn't work on its own, you have no way to determine if gods, or anybody else's, morality is good or bad.
