People often argue over the use of letters when discussing the theological concept of deities.
The most prominent figure discussed is god or God. When discussing the idea of god, the most puzzling issue I see is people arguing whether the term god should be capitalized or not.
My question is, does it actually matter if the word god is capitalized and (if so), why does it matter?
Does "god" only get capitalized when discussing certain deities or should the rule of capitalization/non-capitalization be uniform for all deities?
