In a recent interview with Danica Patrick, Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers opens up about his thoughts on God and religion. Rodgers explains how since joining the NFL, he has strongly distanced himself from his devout Christian upbringing. But this is not the first time, Aaron admits, that he has questioned his faith.
In an ESPN interview in 2017, Rodgers claims that he began questioning his commitment to the Christian faith. He claims that in his youth there were things he did not like about the church or religion, and questions aimed at clergymen often left him dissatisfied and confused. Rodgers also accounts the times when his questioning was met with threats of "burning in hell for sins committed." Now Rodgers feels further from Christianity and faith than ever.
