How might
birthmarks be linked to reincarnation and how can we tell?
During
the 1960’s, Dr. Ian Stevenson, a psychiatrist from the University of Virginia,
began studying children between the ages of 2 – 4 who remembered a past life.
In
more than a hundred unique cases that were documented, Dr. Stevenson was able
to show a direct correlation between how a person died in a prior life and
their birthmark now.
Children
would report on experiences in a previous life, how they died, and would point
out their birthmarks as a point of injury from the past life that lead to their
deaths.
Case
study reports came in from Buddhists and Hindus in South Asia, the Shiites of
Lebanon and Turkey, and the native tribes of West Africa. In each case,
children reporting on a former life would point out their birthmarks claiming
it was the point where they were wounded in the former life. In some cases, the
person the child claimed to be could be traced and in many of the cases, the
wound on the body that led to death were in the exact place where the children
had their birthmarks.
Questions
Could
our birthmarks be an imprint of memories our soul carries from a prior
lifetime?
How
can past memories linked to birthmarks in children be explained and what
explains birthmarks being in the spots where death-causing injuries occurred in
the deceased?
Could
reincarnation be linked to birthmarks?
